Beef Cheeks Black Onyx Rangers Valley - 500g x 2 Pieces
These Beef Cheeks from Rangers Valley are a showstopper. Requiring a minimal amount of trimming, these Cheeks can be slow cooked whole or diced for curries and stews.
Rangers Valley is situated in the pristine northern tablelands of NSW. This area enjoys a cool climate that suits high quality beef production by providing a stress-free environment for animals all year round.
Rangers Valley achieve maximum marbling with specialised feed rations to ensure their cattle grow at a slow, natural rate, similar to that of a pasture fed animal. This approach delivers beef products that achieve consistent marbling scores.
The Cheeks are one of the most prized parts of the animal. They are hard at work in the field constantly chewing and, as such, they are excellent when slowly cooked to allow the connective tissue, sinew and fat to break down and release their flavour.
Beef Cheeks have the added advantage of being a lovely manageable size, they can easily be cooked whole until they are soft and unctuous.
Two Beef Cheeks will comfortably feed 3 to 4 people.
